TRADERNSYT Back

Terms

Effective date: October 8, 2026

These are the terms for using TraderNSYT: the Mac app, the phone app, and this website. TraderNSYT is not a company. It is run by one person, Adam Tokola, doing business as TraderNSYT. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that person. By creating an account or using TraderNSYT you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What TraderNSYT is

TraderNSYT is a trading journal. It keeps a record of trades you have already made, lets you write notes about them, and shows you figures and charts about your own trading.

TraderNSYT is not a broker. It does not hold your money or your positions. It cannot place, change or cancel a trade. It reads your trades; it never makes one.

TraderNSYT is not an investment adviser, a broker-dealer, a tax adviser or an accountant, and we are not registered as any of these.

Not financial advice

Nothing in TraderNSYT is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything, or to trade in any way.

TraderNSYT shows you what happened in your own trading. What you do next is your decision alone. Trading can lose money, including all of the money you put in. What happened in the past does not tell you what will happen next.

If you want advice, speak to a licensed professional.

Check your numbers against your broker

Every figure in TraderNSYT is worked out from data that you and your broker supply: trades brought in from a connected broker, files you import, and things you type in.

That data can be late, incomplete or wrong, and our own calculations can contain mistakes. Fees, expired options, transfers and corporate actions such as splits are common places where a figure can differ from your broker's.

Your broker's own statements are the official record of your account. TraderNSYT is not. Check any figure that matters against your broker's statements before you rely on it. Do not use TraderNSYT's figures for your tax return or any other official filing without checking them.

If you find a number you think is wrong, tell us at support@tradernsyt.com. We want to know.

Early access

TraderNSYT is in early access. It is new, and it is still being built.

That means features can change, be added or be taken away. There may be bugs and times when it does not work. We may limit who can use some parts of it. We try hard not to lose anything you have put in, but in early access we cannot promise it, so keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. Your broker keeps your trade history.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.

You may use TraderNSYT only where it is legal for you to do so. You may not use it if United States law bars us from providing services to you, for example because of sanctions.

Your account

You create an account with your email address and a password. Give us an email address that is yours and that works, because that is how we reach you.

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has got into it, change your password and tell us at support@tradernsyt.com.

One account is for one person. Do not share it or sell it.

Connecting a broker

You can bring trades in by connecting a broker account or by importing a file from your broker.

Broker connections are provided by SnapTrade, a separate company. When you connect a broker you are using SnapTrade's service, and SnapTrade's own terms and privacy policy apply to that connection. You can read them at snaptrade.com/terms-and-conditions. You sign in to your broker in a window that SnapTrade and your broker run, not one of ours. TraderNSYT never sees your broker password and does not store it.

The connection we ask SnapTrade for is read-only. TraderNSYT uses it to read your trades and account information. It cannot place, change or cancel a trade.

You promise that every broker account you connect and every file you import is yours, or that you have the owner's permission to use it this way. Your broker's rules still apply to you; check that they allow you to connect a tool like this.

We do not control your broker or SnapTrade. A connection can stop working, be slow, or deliver incomplete data, and we are not responsible for that. You can remove a connection at any time.

Your content and your data

Your trades, your notes, your photos and everything else you put into TraderNSYT are yours. We do not claim to own them.

You give us permission to store, copy and process that content only so that we can run TraderNSYT for you: to keep it, to work out your figures, to show it back to you on your devices, to keep backups, and to fix problems and keep the service working.

We do not sell your data. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy page.

If you choose to share something, such as a picture of your stats, you decide what it shows and who sees it, and you are responsible for it.

Do not put in anything you have no right to use, or anything unlawful.

Flo, the assistant

TraderNSYT includes an assistant called Flo. Flo is not open to everyone yet. When it is open to you, these rules apply.

Flo's answers are produced by software. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Flo does not give financial advice, and nothing Flo says is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.

What you agree not to do

Do not use TraderNSYT to break the law or to harm anyone.

Do not try to get into anyone else's account or data.

Do not attack, overload, probe or scrape the service, or get around its limits or its security.

Do not copy, resell or rent TraderNSYT, or take the software apart to get at its code, except where the law gives you a right to that we cannot remove.

Do not use it to build a competing product.

Do not put in malicious code or files.

What belongs to us

The TraderNSYT apps, the website, the designs, the name and the marks belong to us. We give you a personal permission to install and use the apps for your own trading journal, for as long as these terms are in effect between us. You cannot pass that permission to anyone else, and it gives you no ownership of the software.

If you send us an idea or a suggestion, we can use it freely, with no payment and no obligation to you.

Other companies' services

TraderNSYT depends on services run by other companies: SnapTrade for broker connections, Supabase for sign-in and storing data, Render for our server, Loops for the waitlist's emails, Vercel for this website, and Google Workspace for support email. Our Privacy page says what each one handles. Some of them have their own terms that apply to you when you use their part. We are not responsible for services we do not run.

Price

TraderNSYT is free during early access. We do not ask for a payment card.

We plan to offer paid plans later. Before anything costs money we will tell you, and you will be able to choose. We will never charge you without your agreement. When paid plans exist, these terms will be updated to cover them.

Ending your account

You can stop at any time. You delete your account yourself, in Settings, on the Mac or the phone. If you cannot get into the app to reach Settings, write to support@tradernsyt.com from the email address on the account.

Deleting is permanent, and it happens at once on our side: your trades, your notes and your photos are removed, and your email is taken off our mailing list. We cannot bring a deleted account back. What we keep is the day it happened, the kinds of data that were removed, whether each outside step finished, and the identifier SnapTrade had for the account so we can confirm the link is removed — it holds no name, no email address and no password. Backups of the database are made once a day and kept for up to eight days, so a backup can still hold your data for that long afterwards; photos are not in those backups.

We ask SnapTrade to remove the link to your broker, and SnapTrade removes it on its own schedule. For anything on SnapTrade's side, contact SnapTrade's support — its contact page is dashboard.snaptrade.com/contact-us, and its own privacy policy is at snaptrade.com/privacy-policy. Our Privacy page says more.

We can suspend or close an account if you break these terms, if we must by law, or if your use puts other people or the service at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

We may also stop offering TraderNSYT altogether. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email where we reasonably can, so you can save what you need.

The parts of these terms that by their nature should outlast your account still apply after it ends: for example what belongs to whom, the sections on warranty and liability, and how disputes are settled.

No warranty

TraderNSYT is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties about it of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not promise that TraderNSYT will always be available, free of errors or secure, that its figures will be accurate or complete, or that your data will never be lost.

Some places do not allow some of these limits. Where that is so, they apply to you only as far as the law allows, and you keep any rights the law says cannot be taken away.

Limit of our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any trading loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, however they arise, even if we were told they were possible.

You make your own trading decisions. We are not liable for any decision you make, or do not make, based on anything TraderNSYT showed you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for everything connected with TraderNSYT is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us for TraderNSYT in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) 100 US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

If your use causes a claim against us

If someone else brings a claim against us because you broke these terms, broke the law while using TraderNSYT, or put in data you had no right to use, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, including reasonable legal fees. We will tell you about the claim promptly.

Which law applies, and disputes

If you have a problem with TraderNSYT, write to support@tradernsyt.com first. We will try to settle it with you directly within 30 days.

These terms are governed by the law of the State of New York, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law. If we cannot settle a dispute between us, it will be decided only in the state and federal courts located in Kings County, New York, and you and we both accept those courts. Either of us may instead use a small-claims court that has the power to hear the claim.

To the fullest extent the law allows, you and we each give up the right to a jury trial, and each agree to bring claims only on our own behalf and not as part of a class action or any other group proceeding.

If you live somewhere whose consumer law gives you rights that cannot be signed away, including the right to bring a claim in your home courts, you keep those rights.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms as TraderNSYT changes. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the law or a security problem requires us to act sooner.

If you keep using TraderNSYT after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, stop using TraderNSYT and delete your account.

If you got the app from Apple's App Store

If you got the TraderNSYT app from Apple's App Store, your copy is also licensed to you under Apple's standard licence agreement for apps, which you can read at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

Apple is not responsible for the app or for supporting it. Support comes from us, at support@tradernsyt.com.

The rest

These terms, together with our Privacy page, are the whole agreement between you and us about TraderNSYT.

If a court finds part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

If we do not enforce a part of these terms at some point, we have not given it up.

You may not pass your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may pass ours to a company that takes over TraderNSYT, and we will tell you if that happens.

We may send you notices by email to the address on your account, or inside the app.
